“No choice.”
There’s a concept in Human Design (which my logical brain wholly rejects) about “no choice.” I get what they’re saying – that our design dictates our destiny. That all of our activations and all of our openness combine to create a single human instance of our unique individual expression and if we navigate the soup of life experience following our embodied Strategy and Authority, we will express the fullness and fulfillment of our own perfection. The reason I get stuck on the phrase “ no choice” is that it denies the one choice we do have – whether to surrender and align to our design, or not. This is the choice we choose to make (or not) every moment of every day. We choose to wade into the chaos of our conditioning, deconstruct it, understand it, and integrate it – or we don’t. The right question to ask yourself is, do you want to experience the fullest expression of your genetic imprint, or do you want to keep swimming against the current of your geometry and biology? There is always a choice. To be your Not Self or your True Self. To force or to flow.
