How to find your place.

I rarely use ChatGPT but I was struggling with where to plant myself to ride out the political upheaval and impending economic disaster in the U.S., so I consulted ChatGPT for ideas and direction. I knew I wasn’t in the right community, I’ve grown to hate the snow and the cold, and I spend way too much money on shit I don’t need to make me feel better about the life I’m living. The most important part of my query was the three very clear criteria I had going in: 1) year-round temperate climate where I could grow food if I needed to (as the U.S. government prepares to weaponize hunger), 2) mountains for hiking but without ticks and Lyme disease (my long-term physical health is most important to me), and 3) a community of healers (so that my work in Human Design would find good company). Initially, ChatGPT served up Sedona, AZ and Santa Fe + Taos, NM. My Sacral said ‘meh’. So I broadened the search to include Canada since I’m now in the process of claiming Canadian citizenship. I got “Vancouver” and my Sacral was all ‘sounds nice, but do you know how expensive that is?’ When ChaptGPT asked if they could put together a nice little 3-5 day itinerary, I asked it to hold off and apply those same criteria to Spain first. Chat GPT offered Órgiva and Sedella in the south and Asturias/Cantabria in the north. My Sacral said ‘when do we go?’
