Notes to myself.

I started writing notes to myself in my early 20’s as a way of processing my thoughts and feelings that seemed so overwhelming and would not let go. The process of getting these obsessive thoughts and feelings out of my mind and body and putting them on paper gave me a sense of calm and clarity that allowed me to focus. Back then I wrote for me, privately. And while I no longer experience obsessive thoughts or feelings the way I did 40 years ago, I am writing once again for me. But this time I offer my thoughts publicly as a window into what it looks like to try and live as honestly as I can with who I am and how I’m built according to my own unique Human Design, deconstructing and shedding the layers of my own conditioning as I go.
